1. Who we are

2. In short
- Seyir helps you discover places you want to visit, mark where you've been and turn your trips into a book.
- There are no social features: your saved places, routes and memories are never shown to other users.
- No ads, no advertising ID, and we never sell your data.
- A free account (email or Google) is required to use the app; your memories and books are backed up to your account.
- We don't track you: no usage analytics and no behavioural profiling.
3. What data we collect

What you search for and the content of your memories are never processed for analytics.
4. Who we share data with
We don't sell your data or share it for advertising. To run the app we work only with these kinds of service providers, using the minimum data needed:
- Cloud infrastructure and hosting providers: store your account and synced data securely.
- Sign-in providers: for authentication if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Map, place search, directions and weather services: to draw the map, search places and show weather. Your search text, the coordinates of the map area and your IP address may be sent to them. With location permission, an approximate (rounded) position is used for weather.
- Map provider: the imagery for the main Map screen in the Android app (map tiles and map style) is downloaded from a map provider's servers; your IP address and the map area being viewed are sent to the provider in the process. Each time the app is opened, the provider receives an anonymous counter event, containing no name, email address, account ID or location, used to count monthly active users for billing. The provider's location and usage data collection (telemetry) is turned off in the app.
- Photo and content sources: place photos and texts load from public sources; your IP address is sent to them when loading.
- Crash reporting service: receives the technical error log when the app crashes.
5. Your permissions and choices
- Location: optional; without it the app works but nearby places and distances aren't shown.
- Photos: only the photos you pick to add to a memory or cover are accessed.
- Notifications: optional; we send none while Reminders is off.
- Account and data: you can delete your preferences, remove saved items, and delete your account and all your data from within the app.
6. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Data tied to your account is stored so that only your account can access it; other users cannot see it.
7. Retention
Your account data is kept until you delete your account. After a deletion request your account is put on hold for 30 days; if you sign in during that time the deletion is cancelled. After 30 days your account and all related data are permanently deleted. Crash reports are kept briefly and then deleted automatically. See Account and Data Deletion.
8. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Your rights and contact
You may request access, correction or deletion of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to seyir.app.destek@gmail.com.
10. Changes
If this policy is updated, the new version is published on this page with a new date; you'll be notified in the app of important changes.
